Nottingham Student Centre

Over 500 Jewish students studying in Nottingham are now able to enjoy the superb amenities of an exciting, recently renovated Student Centre.

Situated on Lower Road in Beeston, and just 250 metres from the west gate of the Nottingham University campus, it comprises over 1700 square feet set over two floors. It provides the focus for a wide range of student events and activities as well as ample social space just to ‘hang out’.

Working in consultation with Nottingham JSoc members and UJS Hillel, the talented young interior designer Adam Share has evolved a ‘feel’ to the centre which combines the practical with the imaginative to create a dynamic Jewish space that is warm and welcoming.

On the accommodation front, UJS Hillel has secured a number of kosher flats for Nottingham University students in the impressive Broadgate Park development just 300 metres from the Jewish Student Centre in Lower Road.

Students at the Nottingham Trent and other campuses have the opportunity of opting for accommodation in a newly refurbished house in the Woolaton area of the city which UJS Hillel has acquired on behalf of Jewish students.
